Shipping policy
At Gourmet Harvest, we partner with trusted producers across the country to deliver premium wild foods, fresh provisions, and specialty ingredients. Because our marketplace includes both Gourmet Harvest–fulfilled products and Shopify Collective vendor–fulfilled products, shipping policies vary slightly depending on the item.
Gourmet Harvest–Fulfilled Orders
Products shipped directly by Gourmet Harvest follow a consistent schedule to ensure freshness and proper cold-chain handling.
We ship on:
– Mondays
– Thursdays
Orders placed after 12 PM on a shipping day will ship on the next available shipping day.
We ship using insulated packaging and cold packs appropriate to the product type. Tracking information is sent as soon as your label is generated.
Vendor-Fulfilled (Shopify Collective) Orders
Many items on our marketplace are shipped directly from our vendor partners through Shopify Collective.
Each vendor sets their own shipping schedule, packaging methods, and carrier preferences.
Typical expectations:
– Most perishable vendors ship Mon–Thu to avoid weekend delays
– Tracking is provided once the vendor fulfills your order
– Orders may arrive in multiple packages if you purchase from multiple vendors

Delivery Issues
If your order arrives damaged, warm, delayed, or incorrect, please email us immediately:

Include:
– Order number
– Photos of packaging and product
– Description of the issue
We work quickly with vendors to resolve any delivery problems.
Cold-Chain Handling
Perishable products are shipped with appropriate insulation, ice packs, or frozen gel packs. It’s normal for ice packs to partially thaw in transit as long as products remain cold to the touch.
If your order arrives warm, contact us right away.
Multiple Shipments
If you ordered items from multiple vendors or from both Gourmet Harvest and a vendor partner, your order may arrive in separate boxes on different days.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship within the United States. Some vendors may have restrictions on Alaska, Hawaii, or PO Boxes depending on product type.
